Château Latour Grand Vin
Tasting Notes
Opened for Sarah's birthday. Decanted 2 hours. Nose of pencil shavings, cassis, and violet. Palate is dense yet refined.
Still young. Incredible concentration. Needs more time but already showing amazing complexity.
Monumental wine. Needs 20 years.
Drinking well now but will last.
Perfect structure. Cassis, graphite, and cedar notes.
Outstanding balance. A bit austere now but incredible potential.
Textbook Pauillac. All about structure and power. Will age for decades.
